100 cm Ø. Edition 1/3.
In this work, I collect air from a wetland and deposit it onto a Petri dish. I am interested in this gesture as a way of recording the breath of the place, inevitably intertwined with my own through the very act of collecting it. Air is not an empty medium, but a living body in which water, pollen, bacteria, organic matter and traces of multiple forms of life coexist. By cultivating it, what emerges is not merely an image, but the material imprint of an entire ecosystem.
The work proposes looking at the landscape from another perspective, not as something we passively contemplate, but as a presence of which we are part. Emprenta de l’aire viu thus speaks of interdependence, attention and the invisible continuity that connects body, environment and breath in every particle of air, while raising questions such as what a landscape really is and, above all, where it ends.

Emprenta de l'aire viu / Imprint of Living Air, exhibited at the Museum of the University of Alicante as part of the exhibition Contemporary Art Encounters, where it received an Honourable Mention from the jury. 2026
