EL PAISAJE INVISIBLE DE EL HONDO (2025)

Research residency project developed in collaboration with Miriam Martínez Guirao at El Hondo Natural Park, with the support of Oika Spain and SuperCluster. Curated by Fred Adam, with the collaboration of the University of Murcia (UMU) and the environmental associations ANSE and AHSA.

El paisaje invisible de El Hondo is an artistic research project developed during a four-week research residency that seeks to expand the idea of landscape beyond its traditional representation through different forms of observation and documentation. From frottage to chromatography, data collection and analysis, and microscopy, the project reveals processes taking place within the territory, bringing a hidden dimension of the landscape to light and highlighting the relationships that shape it. This approach offers a different way of looking at the landscape and invites us to reconsider what we understand by landscape and how far its boundaries extend.
